Everything your school runs, in one place
Each job lives on its own page and hands off to the next, so a class list, a fee or a mark is entered once and used everywhere.
Classes and sections
Build your class tree once, under the current academic year: Class 9 splits into 9-A and 9-B. Rosters, the timetable, fees and every class picker in the app use it.
Attendance in a few taps
Teachers see today’s periods and open the right class already filled in. Mark present, absent, late, excused or on leave; “All present” covers a whole class in one tap. Take it once a day or period by period.
A timetable that can’t clash
Build the weekly grid class by class. Every new period is checked against the whole school, so a teacher, a room or a class is never double-booked.
Exams, results and report cards
Create an exam with a paper for each subject, announce the date sheet, and enter marks in a quick grid or upload them from Excel. Students and parents see results only once you publish them. Grades follow bands your school defines, and report cards come as PDFs on your letterhead, to print or download. An unmarked paper is left out, never counted as zero.
Fees, billed in one go
Set your fee heads and bill each class monthly, quarterly, yearly, once or on your own instalment dates, with late fees. Raise a whole class’s invoices in one go, hand over a receipt for every payment, and remind every family with an unpaid bill.
School buses
Routes and stops with each trip’s times, who rides where with the seats counted, and bus fares on their own Fares page. Each day the attendant marks who got on and off at each stop and parents are told at once; parents can say their child isn’t taking the bus, and you’re alerted if a trip home ends with a child still on board.
Parents always in the loop
Announcements, numbered circulars parents must acknowledge, a shared calendar and direct messages, each sent only to the classes or roles you choose.
Homework, notes and quizzes
Teachers share notes and files on Materials, and set homework and quizzes on one Classwork page, named the way your school says it (Homework, say). Quizzes mark themselves; homework marks reach families when the teacher publishes them.
Admissions, enquiry to enrolment
Publish your school’s own Public Page at eduiey.com/o/your-school with an Apply form: your own questions, the documents you need and an optional application fee. Link to it from your website, WhatsApp or a QR code. Applications land on your admissions board beside walk-ins and calls, and an admitted child is enrolled into their class in one step.
Staff leave and salaries
Staff ask for leave on My Leave and the principal approves; nobody ever decides their own. Balances keep count, the Away tab shows who’s out and the periods to cover, and unpaid leave comes off the month’s salary by itself. Pay salaries in cash or, in India, straight to each person’s bank or UPI.
ID cards with a QR check
Design your own cards, choose which roles get one, and print them on A4 sheets or a card printer. Each card’s QR code shows whether it is still valid, a lost card stops working at once, and every academic year can bring new cards.
A new year from the last one
Set up next academic year from this one: classes, subjects, teachers, the timetable and fees come along, and each class moves up (5-A to 6-A) while detained students stay back. A promotion rule says who goes up, and a closed year’s records can’t change.
Certificates and the library
Issue numbered transfer and bonafide certificates from your own templates, as PDFs on your letterhead, and run the library with loans, reservations and fines. Hostel and mess are there if you board students.
A school day in Eduiey
- Morning register. A teacher opens Attendance, taps their first period and marks the class. Low attenders stand out on the running percentage.
- In class. Notes and homework go to exactly the class and subject they’re for, and appear on each student’s own to-do list.
- After a test. Marks go into the grid or come in from an Excel sheet, the result sheet shows totals, grades and ranks, and results reach families when you publish them.
- At the office. The fee desk looks up a student, sees what is due including any late fee, records the payment and prints the receipt. One button reminds every family with an unpaid invoice.
- On the bus home. The attendant marks each child off at their stop, and each parent is notified the moment their child is dropped.
- At home. Parents open My Children to see each child’s attendance, results, report cards and fees.
Set up in an afternoon
Getting Started walks your admin through setup in the right order. The rest of the app stays locked until the essentials are done, so nobody lands on a half-built screen.
- Choose your words. Class or Grade, Section, Teacher, Parent, and what your exams and homework pages are called: every screen follows what you pick.
- Create the academic year that your classes and records are filed under, divided into terms if you use them.
- Set up roles, starting from ready-made ones such as Principal, Teacher, Accountant, Front Desk, Student and Parent, and tick what each one may do.
- Build your classes and sections.
- Add your people one by one, or from an Excel template that creates every student, places each one in their class and links their parents in a single upload.
Subjects, the timetable, grading (from a ready-made template), fees, leave types and your Public Page can follow whenever you’re ready.
Everyone sees their own part
Principal and office
A dashboard of what needs doing, school-wide figures on attendance, fees and admissions, result sheets in Excel or PDF, report cards as PDFs, and an Audit Log of who did what.
Teachers
Their own periods for the day, attendance, marks entry, homework, and the Teaching Plan: syllabus progress and lesson plans the principal can approve or send back.
Students
Their timetable, attendance percentage, results, report cards and homework, and nobody else’s.
Parents
Each linked child’s attendance, results, report cards, fees and bus in one place, and nothing about any other child.
Every member of staff
Their own attendance, leave balances and requests, payslips and ID card, on their own pages under For you.
Made to protect children’s data
- Your own roles decide exactly who can open each page and take each action.
- Every school’s records are sealed off from every other customer, and there is no public list of the schools on Eduiey.
- A parent’s access is checked child by child, on every page.
- Everyone accepts the privacy policy, and your own privacy notice once you publish it, before using the app, and a child’s account needs a parent’s consent: the parent approves in their own app, or the school records the signed form it already holds. Every consent is kept on record, built for India’s DPDP Act.
- Students can’t start chats with each other, and anyone can report or block a message; reports go straight to your admins.
- The Audit Log records who did what and when on every page, including every download of your data.
- When someone leaves, deactivating their account signs them out on their very next action.
- Fee payments settle straight into your school’s own account. Eduiey never holds your money.
An assistant that knows how your school works
Eduiey AI is built into the app. Ask how anything works, or ask it to act for you: “who hasn’t paid fees in 9-A?”, “make a 10-question quiz on fractions for 6-B”, “issue a bonafide certificate for Arnab Sen”. It works only with the permissions your own role has, and anything risky waits on a card until you tap Confirm. For students it is a tutor: it explains and gives hints, and never does graded work for them.
Questions schools ask
Can we use our own words, like Grade instead of Class?
Yes. Pick Class or Grade, Section, Teacher, Parent or Guardian, and what your exams and homework pages are called, once in Settings, and every screen, form and message uses them. The year is always the Academic Year, divided into terms if you like.
Can we bring in our existing student list?
Yes. Download the Excel template, fill it in and upload it. Eduiey creates the students, puts each one in the right class and links their parents, all in one pass.
How do parents and students sign in?
With the mobile number or email address your school registered for them, and a password. The first time, an Indian mobile number gets a one-time code by SMS to set the password; for an email address or a number outside India, the school sets it. There is no username to remember.
Our youngest students don’t have phones. Can they still be on Eduiey?
Yes. A child without a phone is still a full member of the class: marked present, graded and billed. Their parent sees everything under My Children.
Where does fee money go?
Straight into your school’s own account. Collect on your own UPI id at no cost (your office confirms each payment), or connect your own payment-gateway account so payments confirm themselves; outside India, Stripe. Eduiey never holds the money. Until you switch online payment on, parents see a “pay at the office” note instead.
Can we manage our school buses?
Yes, when your plan includes Transport. Add your buses with their papers, each route with its stops and times, and who rides where; bus fares are billed and collected on their own Fares page, by whoever handles the buses' money. Each day the attendant marks who got on and off at each stop and parents are told at once, and you’re alerted if a trip home ends with a child still marked on board. Live tracking on a map isn’t available yet.
Can staff apply for leave in the app?
Yes. Staff ask on My Leave, and whoever approves leave decides; nobody can approve their own. Approved days go on staff attendance, and unpaid leave comes off the salary automatically.
Can other schools see our data?
No. Each school’s records are sealed off from every other customer, and there is no public list of the schools that use Eduiey.
